New year, new things and new song of the month!!!

So its finally 2010!!! The year that optimism booms and people find their other half, make money or whatever!!! There are no limits I belive this year, sky is turely the limit!! On a personal note, I want to change a couple of things myself and prosper in some ventures this year. Firstly, I'm on that healthy tip this year, out with the carbs in with the fruit and veg. Not the most exciting times when it comes to meal time, but by the time the hot Arabs, Italians, Greeks, french, German and Latino's arrive I should be in tip top shape!! Girls you need to really get on it this winter, South Africa is going to be a spectacular playground with gorgeous men trying to see them fit, African women! I already see and hear girls getting on their plans of action so that they are not caught unprepaired or left behind when the Billi's rock up! Secondly, I needs to find job so that the good times can carry on rolling and expand that wardrobe!!! Tridly, I need to Finish school and just live my fabulous Alux lifestyle, because I am! I mean here is an example: A friend and I went out to one of our regular hot spots for a drink, then guess what happend? What always happens, expense champagne, expensive meals and gorgeous locations!!! If I didn't have school, I'd be in the thickness of that lifestyle, cos its how we do!! But moving on now, I would also like to announce this months song of the month. (Drum roll)............ Bad habits by Maxwell!!! I love this song!!! The video is just so sexy with those two beautiful people Maxwell and Kerry Washington. the beat is on point,very sexy, flirty and passionate at the same time. The lyrics, just so beautiful, it's music like this that makes people just wanna be together!!!

A new thing that I'll be doing on this blog is having a "Keeping up with the K's" section where I basically talk about the show "Keeping up with the Kardashian's" and the crazy, fashionable, scandalous things the family does. Marc Anthony, Marc Anthony, Marc Anthony!!!! He is such an amazing artist. I don't say singer or actor, but artist. He's something else! I watched a movie named "El Cantante" where he was just brilliant. I forgot that I was watching Marc Anthony and that some other man was on that screen!! He's just sensational! But this is not about his acting, this right now is about the song of the month, which is by Marc Anthony. I actually have two songs by him that I am absolutely in love with! The first is "El Cantante" which makes you wanna shake you goods and learn how to salsa! Its that summer music that needs to be played. The second song is more deep and just so beautiful, "Que lio". I don't know how to discribe how beautiful that is. I don't know if I should start with Marc Anthony's voice, the band or the lyrics. Its one of the most beautiful sounds I have heard in a minute. So I would suggest that if you haven't watched the movie watch it, only if your a lover of latin music like I am.

November song of the month!!!!

So I know I've been rather quiet, my bad!!! Its been hectic for reasons I can't even explain.Its my BIRTHDAY Month!!!!!!! I'm super excited, due to the fact thati will be turning the big 21!!!! I'll be caputing moments of my last days of being 20 and my entrance into turning 21!!!

So I have chosen this months song of the month. Who else could it be but Jigga!!! The song he has named Empire state of mind featuring Alicia Keys hit the core of me the first time I heard it!

The first time I heard the song was when I was watching the Jonathan Ross show on BBC prime and he performed it with an unknown singer. She was amazing!!! I was left in tears because the performance was just out of this world. I had never heard the radio version with A.Keys before this, so this was the first time I know what the song sounded like. Its brilliant, inspiring and beautiful!!! Big up Jay!!!!

S.A's future pastor!

So two Sunday's ago I went to Joe's butcher in Alexandre, Sandton with some friends to go have have a chilled day. On arrival my friends started to greet people they knew and never knew, then bam, I met a youthful guy who I had a conversation with and then down the conversation he told me he is studying to be a pastor. I thought ' Whatever'. Then later I found out later that he was actually telling the truth. What a shocker. He is a smoking, drinking, skirt chasing, twenty something year old guy, who behaves like any other guy, but the thing is he is going to preach in a church! I laughed my head off, because firstly I was in shock and secondly he's going to preach to people! Maybe I'll do a follow up story on this. But people, its amazing the things that are going on in this world. Holla at you soon!

I saw this stunning lady in Sandton last week Saturday and the first thing I thought is that she just nailed her look and her personality was just Alux! She was very humble, yet confident and stylish all at the same time. Love the Aluxism! People keep it up!
